Dr Nicolson is the founding General Practitioner of the Centre. His interests, apart from providing General Practice care, are occupational medicine and legal medicine. He is a senior member of St John Ambulance Australia. He is a Senior Lecturer for the Monash University Rural Health Program based in Bairnsdale and is a GP Supervisor, supervising registrars under EVGPT. Iain is a Vocationally Registered General Practitioner, providing comprehensive family medical care. In addition Dr Nicolson provides services in occupational medicine and is a recognised WorkCover Medical Examiner. Iain is a qualified Medical review officer.

She is also skilled in procedures including: Implanon insertion and removal, and iron infusions. Dr Aveline’s love for general practice and enthusiasm to provide the best possible medical care to her patients resulted in her undertaking further studies, and she obtained the Diploma of Child Health and Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine. Karen (She/her) is a physiotherapist who is passionate about empowering people to listen to their bodies, optimise function, and make life better. Karen has recently attained a Graduate Certificate in Physiotherapy (Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy) at the University of Melbourne, and loves to attend courses and other professional development opportunities to improve her knowledge and skills. After completing her physiotherapy degree in Adelaide, Karen worked in Broken Hill, Sydney, England, Wales, Scotland, Maffra and Sale, with a break in the middle to raise her three children.
